Serenity is looking for an IT Operations Manager/Director (DOE). This position will lead our efforts in IT Systems and Network Operations/Administration, Security and Help Desk. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills can keep systems running smoothly ahead of business demands. This employee will be instrumental in procuring, configuring, and managing the hardware and software to propel the company to new levels. This position requires someone who is hands-on and exhibits servant leadership.

Who succeeds in this role?
Our best performers have the following strengths and skills:
  • 10 years of relevant professional and leadership experience in an IT environment
  • Proven working experience as an IT leader and managing people
  • A , Microsoft technology associate (MTA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Cloud accreditation
  • Thorough knowledge of desktop applications in a Windows environment and some knowledge of Mac and Linux environments.
  • Strong experience with network administration, switches, firewalls, routers, modem configuration, VPNs, etc.
  • Voice Over IP Telephony experience in a contact center environment, inContact experience preferred.
  • Database administration and management experience required, AWS experience preferred.
  • Experience with various business systems and managing IT related project preferred.
  • A technical, logical problem solver, who can move strategically with the growth of the company
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting priorities based on urgency and business needs.
  • Ability to take ownership and dig into solutions while being hands-on, and with minimal direction on occasion.
  • Experience with building business data, systems, infrastructure and disaster recovery solutions and policies
  • Programming background and experience a plus
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
What do we need from you?
As an IT Operations Manager, your daily goals are:
  • Work with all levels of management across the company to determine company needs, update and maintain computer systems and networks, Office 365, VoIP systems, etc.
  • Inventory and plan for company growth, determine needs, and anticipate opportunities
  • Investigate, research, and propose new services and products to solve business problems.
  • Repairing and replacing equipment, as necessary.
  • Support and administer directory services.
  • Identify and protect against security vulnerabilities for devices and their network connections.
  • Available on-call and occasionally work outside normal business hours to solve company-critical, IT-related problems.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, systems, networks, VoIP phones, printers, and scanners.
  • Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
  • Provide technical support to users across the company and be the first point of contact for error reporting.
  • Organizing and scheduling upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
  • Learn, innovate, create, solve problems, share
