QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

The Quality Assurance Specialist reports to the Quality Control Leader. The purpose of this position is to

ensure the quality and hygiene of the final product and the implementation, management and

compliance with the company’s integrated system of standards and procedures.

The role of a Quality Assurance Specialist is based on the following activities:

HSE STANDARDS:

  • Follows the application of safety rules according to company policies and regulations.
  • Maintains order, organization, and cleanliness in all assigned areas, working in line with

correct workplace hygiene practices, with the aim to be an example to others.

COMMUNICATION and COOPERATION:

  • Guarantees proper information sharing, and reports relevant issues to the Quality Manager.
  • Communicates and cooperates with the quality team to ensure the quality and hygiene of the final
  • Support the Quality Control Leader on activities related to the implementation and maintenance of the food safety program.

  • Promotes effective communication between team and Manager.
  • Interacts with different business functions to drive a high-performance culture.

QUALITY CONTROL INSTRUMENTS:

  • Performs calibrations and cleaning of measuring instruments in production or in the Lab,

autonomously or through the supplier.

  • Supports training on the use of measuring instruments to lab staff.

QUALITY ASSURANCE AND PROCEDURES:

  • Supports the implementation and ensures compliance with the company’s integrated system

of procedures and standards. Works to improve the company’s integrated system of

standards and procedures and propose relevant changes to improve processes, methods

and practices continuously, in accordance with client’s standards and internal quality

standards. Guarantees the execution of the training related to quality standards for Quality

and Plant staff.

  • Input data and generate Certificate of Analysis for customer deliveries.

NON-CONFORMITY HANDLING:

  • Ensures incoming material quality, verifies technical documentation, and ensures that all

data about non-Conformities are constantly updated, accurate and available.

  • Manage rework/sort projects on thenon-conforming products.

QUALITY DOCUMENTS AND REPORT WRITING:

  • Prepares quality reports collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

5S STANDARDS:

  • Promotes 5S principles and ensures their application.

ISO STANDARDS:

  • Performs and implements internal Audits. Prepares and attends external Audits,

including follow-up activities and CAPA monitoring.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
