SERVE Transportation Lead

Annual Salary: $37440.00

Education: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent, with preference given to individuals with relevant experience.

General Purpose/Job Summary:

The main functions of the Tran Lead position include:

1) Professional Coordination and Oversight of TRAN Program and Employees
2) Accounts Receivable for Bus Rides
3) Scheduling & Dispatching Bus Rides

The Tran Coordinator will work under the direction of the Business Manager and will require the following qualifications:

 Strong organization skills

 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

 Experience with Microsoft Office products

 Supervisory experience

 Past transportation and supervisory experience a plus

Professional Coordination and Oversight of the Transportation Program

 Supervision of SERVE Dispatcher and Drivers

 Effectively coordinates daily transportation needs and requests in Callaway County

 Ensures that transportation needs are being met

 Oversight of license renewals and annual driver’s certifications

 Works to increase awareness & promote public transportation in Callaway County

Accounts Receivable for Bus Rides

 Bills Medicaid brokers for all trips

 Bills all DMH and Special Services clients through online system CIMOR. Monitors each passenger’s mileage on a regular basis to ensure proper billing and bids. Provides accurate bids for new passengers, as well as updating current passengers. Maintains positive relationships with case managers

 Bills all private pay clients and programs

 Ensures proper documentation is kept on all funding sources for billing and audit purposes

 Tracks all payments made, as well as any past due payments Resubmit any needed invoices, documentation, or billings to ensure payment is made. Follow-up on any payments that are not received

Scheduling & Dispatching Bus Rides

 Answer transportation phone calls from the public and enters reservations for bus rides

 Assists in daily dispatching as calls come in

 Assists with scheduling trips, buses, drivers, and routes for the following day

 Carries the on-call phone as needed
