What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health Screener position at Servexo?

As a Health Screener, you will be the first person to screen anyone entering the campuses in order to aid prevention and screening initiatives at medical Centers

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Observation: Report to Staff all personnel entering the facility/grounds when suspected of carrying weapons, showing hostility, or being unauthorized personnel (e.g., children unaccompanied by adults, or solicitors).
  • Screening: conducting checks of patients, visitors, and employees at the entrance area before they can enter any facility to ensure and help limit the spread of COVID-19. Notify Police Operation/personnel if they have a positive screening. The position requires continuous observation and checking of persons entering the facility to ensure they have been properly screened. If person is unruly or disorderly contact Police Operation and request a Police Officer.
  • Assistance: May be requested to assist assigned personnel with a patient that is incapacitated
  • Customer Service: Meet and deal with the public in a manner that promotes a positive image of the Medical Centers. Maintain poise self-control under stress. Although there will be cordial conversation with the visitors, such contacts shall be brief.
  • Traffic: Shall Maintain the safety and efficiency of traffic, as well as the safety of pedestrians while allowing COVID-19 screening tasks to proceed.
  • Civil disturbances: Perform other functions as necessary in the event or occurrence of civil disturbances or other criminal acts adversely affecting the screeners and safety of the Government, its employees, property and the general public lawfully on buildings or on the grounds of the Government.
  • Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Shall possess a high school diploma or equivalency, and
  • have two (2) years’ experiences demonstrating the ability to meet and deal with the general public and the ability to maintain poise and self-control under stress.
  • Shall demonstrate the ability to read, understand and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instruction, and training materials.
  • Shall demonstrate the ability to construct and write clear, concise, accurate and detailed reports;
  • Shall be literate in English to the extent of reading and understanding printed regulation, detailed written orders, training instruction and material, and shall be able to compose reports which convey complete information in a clear and concise manner, but accurate and detailed of incidents occurring on his/her tour of duty.
  • Must be able to pass background check
  • Must be able to pass random drug screen

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physically able to perform all general duties, functions, and activities and pass a physical exam
  • Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various duties
  • Standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, climb (running when necessary)
  • Ability to work in extreme weather like rain, snow, and extreme heat or cold
  • Must possess good vision, depth perception, distinguish basic colors
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively through clear speech and hearing
  • Possess binocular vision correctable to 20/30 (Snellen)
  • Be capable of hearing ordinary conversation at 15ft with either ear without benefit of a hearing aid
