Security Officer / Government contract

JOB SUMMARY:

• Monitoring staff and contractor/vendor traffic Must greet everyone in a friendly and professional manner

• Ensuring sign-in and sign-out procedures are complied with appropriately.

• Answers and screens incoming calls and directs to the appropriate staff and/or area

• Security Officer is responsible for monitoring and maintaining all required security documentation, which will be provided at the beginning of the period of performance may include:

• Access and Exit Logs

• Incident Report Logs

• Inspection and Damage Reports for both vehicles and property Intervene with non-lethal, passive means in the event of an incident.

• Provide active shooter and other types of training applicable to security related practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Any guard provided must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a security officer or two (2) years’ experience in a branch of law enforcement or other type of protective service.
• The guards must be trained for and capable of handling any and all incidents in a legal and professional manner.

• Must be in complete uniform and well-groomed at all times.

• Abide by all ordinances and regulations pertaining to the Job Corps CCC’s operation and secure all required licenses and permits;

• Being on time and reliable.
