Job description
Job Purpose: The Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization's research, development, and product implementation efforts.

Essential Functions:

  • Leads a team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
  • Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
  • Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Define the number of contractors or employees required for each assigned project
  • Coordinate necessary equipment and tools for each project in advance
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
  • Ensure that all assigned personnel use the required safety equipment in each project
  • Coordinate changes and be willing to adapt if necessary
  • Keep teams committed, motivated, and productive throughout the project
  • Create reports for upper management that the project has achieved its objectives
  • Ensure efficient, effective, and timely movement of products to the delivery location
  • Serve as the point of contact for carriers, shippers, and the end customer
  • Travel Approximately 75% to 100%

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Auto CAD required
  • 5s Floor Signs and floor markings A plus but not required
  • Heavy equipment operation required
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements
  • Experience with direct client interactions via site visits
  • Flexible schedule
  • A lot of organizational skills
  • Knowledge of industry (preferred)
  • Experience in Construction
  • Experience with communication and documentation tools Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to organize and perform work efficiently, strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States of America for any employer
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Strong work ethic, self-directed and able to coordinate multiple tasks, and highly motivated.
  • Able to efficiently address crises and problem-solve with open communication
  • Ability to prioritize assignments as necessary.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent lifting to 60 lbs.
  • Frequent standing, bending, stooping, kneeling.

Job Type: Contractor 1099

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday
