What Will I do?
- Accurately apply payments to customer accounts including: checks, credit cards, ACH and third party payer payments
- Transmit daily deposit to bank
- Continuously seek ways to identify, analyze, and improve existing business processes
- Continuous knowledge improvement of ERP software
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Post daily invoices for all revenue producing activity
- Summarize sales commissions at month end
- Prepare monthly AR Aging analysis report
- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries
- Monitor customer account details for non-payment, delayed payment and other irregularities
- Attend weekly account aging meetings
- Ensure that all invoices are posted at month end
- Process all financed jobs documents
- Monitor third party collections activity and maintain on-line collection account
- Assist in month end closing
- Assist with MVP admin responsibilities to include billing and database management
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Assist with other projects as needed
Qualifications:
Do I have What it Takes?
- 1-2 years accounting and/or general ledger experience
- Proven working experience as accounts receivable clerk or accounts receivable specialist
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Extremely detail oriented and deadline driven
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a drug test your first day and a criminal background check
