Security Tech (Experienced)

Our Residential and Commercial Services:

• Smart technology: thermostats, lighting, door locks, etc.
• Keypads, door/window sensors, motion detectors
• Camera/DVR systems
• Complete fire systems

Primary Responsibilities:

• Installs and connects cable/wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to specifications
• Service, maintenance and installation of electronic security systems such as access control, video monitoring, and audio recording
• Operates various hand and light power tools to splice wires, solder connections, cut or drill wiring holes for fixtures and to attach or anchor fixtures and conduit
• Read and translate schematics and wiring diagrams
• Climb ladders and work in high and low locations to reach remote areas. May work in confined space and construction sites to perform installation. Reach above head for extended periods to install wiring
• Work in a variety of environments including some that have specific policies and procedures which must be followed at all times. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (eyewear and/or ear plugs)
• Perform work-related travel to job sites. Some overnight may be required for various job sites
• Ability to use the required and assigned hand tools, including electric drills, hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, vendors and peers
• Ability to work on extension ladders and scaffolding
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Education Experience & Other:

• High School degree or equivalent
• Electronic Technical School training desired
• 2yrs of security/low voltage tech experience desired
• Experience with IP security camera and door access control systems, installations, diagnostics and programming preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• The ideal candidate will live within reasonable distance of Easton, MD

Compensation: This position is full-time and paid hourly, with compensation being commensurate with experience. Company Vehicle provided to lead installer (must have good driving record and valid MD driver’s license). Please submit resumes through indeed.
