Restoration Technician * Water, Fire, Mold, CONSTRUCTION

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. As a Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for providing restoration services for properties that have been damaged by water, fire, mold, or other disasters. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge and experience in the restoration industry.

Responsibilities:
- Perform water damage restoration, including extracting water, drying affected areas, and mitigating further damage
- Conduct mold remediation by identifying and removing mold-infested materials and treating affected areas
- Handle asbestos abatement tasks in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Assist with fire restoration efforts, including cleaning and deodorizing affected areas
- Conduct carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning as needed
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete restoration tasks effectively and efficiently
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:
- Previous experience in the restoration industry is highly preferred
- Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and best practices
- Familiarity with mold remediation procedures and safety protocols
- Understanding of asbestos abatement procedures and regulations
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected challenges
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and lift heavy objects as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
