The Senior Regional Director, EVS, reports to the Director of Operations and is an integral leader for the day-to-day coaching, mentoring, and managing of our hospital practice throughout Southern California. As the Senior Regional Director, EVS you will provide strategic thought leadership internally and in the field, set performance benchmarks, analyzes data/metrics, and understand how to prioritize and leverage (private and public) client hospital partnerships to meet business objectives. As the company’s healthcare expert, the Senior Regional Director, EVS will drive operational excellence and partner with other business leaders, with a focus on expanding our private healthcare portfolio and future project plans to meet the growth of the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing 200 employees.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:- Directs the performance of moderately complex tasks and projects; systematize and lead the automation of complex tasks
- Develops new policies and strategies that further business objectives; develops communication and training plans for any new policies, procedures, and strategies
- Develops budget for business sector; ensures budget is met through controlling costs, expanding billable services to current clients, and attracting new client business opportunities
- Develops client negotiation strategies for both renewals and service upgrades; seeks new business opportunities and optimal negotiating position
- Drives and develops workforce planning standards for both execution of contracts and for budget considerations
- Develops and guides employees; seeks to identify, engage, and motivate high potential talent; is the point of escalation for complex employee relations and performance management issues
- Determines the standard for work within portfolios, sector specific safety guidelines and metrics, and develops and implements sector process and procedures
- Participates in strategic planning meetings
- Builds cross department relationships centered on executing company strategy
- Communicates effectively with team members, internal, leadership, and external customers
- Determines and measures KPI’s of team
- Assists in training and development of new team members by developing training objectives and strategies for team
- Maintains relevant professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies
- Leads, trains, and mentors portfolio leadership
- 10 years of experience with increasing responsibility in a service-related field
- Demonstrated ability to strategically lead a segment or multiple segments of business
- Familiar with technology and timekeeping systems, proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated analytical skills, ability to run relevant data and derive relevant inferences
- Demonstrated union and non-union, as well as multi-unit experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
