Primary Responsibilities
- Create estimates in Xactimate for jobs related to Reconstruction, Restoration, Water Mitigation, and Mold Remediation
- Assist with writing of Estimates for jobs related to Water Mitigation and Mold Remediation.
- Assist with DryBook by entering all job-site measurements and metrics into DryBook and manage the organization of our jobs in DryBook.
- Moisture Mapping (experience with Moisture Reading, Moisture Logging a plus)
- Utilize Xactimate to create the job Estimates and to help complete invoices sent to our customers/insurance companies.
- Assist with the gathering, preparation and organizing of Job Files, including job estimates, job-site sketches, job-site photos, insurance required paperwork, invoicing, and other billing related documents.
- Manage, maintain, and continuously update the company’s WIP (Work In Progress) to reflect the daily completion of existing jobs while adding new jobs that come in.
- Communicate with Insurance company to ensure we have submitted all required paperwork and follow up with them to ensure they are moving forward with payments.
- Speak to Insurance Adjusters and answer questions they may have regarding our restoration jobs and to ensure they have all required documentation from us
- Assist the Production Manager in scheduling jobs
- Interact with our production technicians to gather necessary information needed by the Production Manager daily
Position Requirements
- Prior Servpro Experience a PLUS
- Minimum of 2 years experience using Xactimate preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Construction preferred.
- Experience in Water Mitigation, Mold Remediation, Restoration, Construction, and related industries a plus but not required.
- DryBook, Dash, or any other software that deals with Moisture Reading, Moisture Logging, Moisture mapping a plus but not required
- Be able to write well and clearly and speak professionally on the phone with Insurance Adjusters and Insurance companies
- Proactive and fully engaged with our daily activities
