Summary of Role and Responsibilities:
Sessler, Inc. is seeking an experienced Safety Manager in the construction industry. This Safety Manager will be expected to manage all things related to Sessler Inc’s Safety Program. This position will be based in the Main Office and will be required to travel across the Seattle-Tacoma area to visit job sites and conduct various tasks. Tasks would include and are not limited to the list below. It is expected that the applicant be well versed in the tasks listed below.
· Track Employee Certifications
· Perform and/or Schedule Training to keep workforce current on certifications
· Review and Update Safety Handbook to stay current with Industry Requirements
· Create and Review JHA Plans with Foreman and field personnel
· Ensure all SDS Documents are on file at each project
· Conduct Investigations and Resolutions to all near misses and injuries
· Conduct Monthly Safety Review Meetings with management
· Provide Weekly Toolbox Talks with field personnel
· Work with Approach Management on open claims
· Actively manage any claims
· Conduct Weekly Safety Audits on all current projects
· Assist and provide solutions to site-specific Safety concerns
· Conduct Safety Orientation for all new employees
· Maintain and update COVID Plans for each project
· Safety Supplies: Purchasing, Distribution, and Management
· Maintain accurate Safety Documentation and Reports for Sessler, Inc.
This Safety Manager position will work amongst Sessler Inc’s project management team and field teams and will report directly to upper management. This position will be in communication with ownership and management teams on a regular basis.

Skills Required
· 5 Years of Experience in Construction Safety Management
· OSHA 30
· “Train-the-Trainer” Certified
· Ability to gain access to Military Base Projects
· Competent Person in Fall Protection, Scaffold Erection, Mobile Equipment
· CPR/First Aid/AED
· Bilingual (preferred)
· Degree in Health and Safety (Preferred)
· Computer Skills
· Ability to communicate with customers and internal teams
· High Level of Competence in Claims Management
