Description
Sevananda Natural Foods Market is seeking a versatile individual to work part-time hours as a cashier, and as a grocery clerk to join our team. Candidates must be adaptable and able to work in two departments on varying days. The candidate must be willing and able to work evening shifts, weekdays, and weekends between 8am-9:30pm. Qualifications
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Unloading trucks and have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Receive and stock grocery.
- Fronting grocery shelves.
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, or automatic debits.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change; and at end of shift balance till.
- Greet customers entering establishments.
- Establish or identify prices of goods and services and tabulate bills without a calculator; and operate POS cash register.
