Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting medical histories, and performing basic medical procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician; monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects.
• Assist physicians and registered nurses in examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Monitor and record patients' progress, symptoms, and vital signs; report any changes or concerns to the physician or registered nurse.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control protocols and following established clinical procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations, guidelines, and standards to maintain patient confidentiality and legal compliance.

Qualifications:

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of New York.
• BLS Certification
• Proven experience working as an LPN, preferably in an acute care setting.
• Basic knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Pay: $1,720.00 per week
