Seven Mile Café is searching for a Host for our restaurant!

We are an innovative AM eatery specializing in top-notch service and amazing menu items. We feature a full espresso bar with awesome morning coffee and alcohol options, plus a pet-friendly outdoor patio! Most of the menu is made from scratch and offers a unique twist on the classics. We go to great lengths to offer numerous options for guests that are vegan or gluten sensitive. We are looking for talented individuals who take pride in their work and have a positive attitude. Seven Mile Cafe offers generous pay, excellent training, and a supportive working environment. Also, we are only for breakfast and lunch, so no nights! JOB DESCRIPTION*
This position impacts the company by supporting a team, creating great guest experiences, and growing revenue and profitability.

YOU WILL:*

• Set-up, maintain, and operate the host and front waiting area.
• Create a sense of community with guests.
• Welcome guests when they enter the restaurant.
• Add guests to waitlist and alert them when table is ready.
• Seat guests.
• Inform guests of food and beverages specials.
• Stage tables to ensure they are clean.
• Thank guests as they leave and solicit feedback.
• Resolve guest complaints, investigate problems, and identify solutions.
• Adhere to SERV Safe Alcohol, Food, and HACCP standards, Federal/State/Local laws, and company policies, 100% of the time.
• Develop strong working relationships within the team.

• Customer-centric, committed to supporting the customer.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
• Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience, required.
• Must possess proper food handler certifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
