Part Time- Bakery Delivery Driver

Seven Stars Bakery is looking for Delivery Driver to join our team! The Delivery driver will individually pack bread items, pastry as well as distribute bread and pastry to our retail stores and wholesale accounts. The ideal candidate possesses at least one year of delivery driving experience. No CDL is required, however you will be operating a 26' Box Truck so experience is required.

We are open 7 days a week so availability on both weekend days is required

The Bakery Delivery Driver is responsible for driving a truck to deliver products to customers safely, timely and professionally. The driver is a position that requires the ability to work independently, Strong time management, organizational and customer service experience required.

Job Qualifications:

• One (1) year delivery driving experience using a box truck, REQUIRED
• Must be able to provide a valid driver's license and clean driving record- this can be gathered from the DMV/RMV
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, ice, snow and rain
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to climb, bend, kneel and crouch
• The ability to lift 50 lbs. numerous times per day
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to load truck with product and equipment as required. This includes making sure that all product is loaded before leaving the bakery
• Drive truck and deliver product to customers and retail locations
• Interact professionally with customers
• Check vehicle for safety/maintenance issues prior to leaving the bakery and throughout the day as needed
• Unload any returns and ensure the proper information on each return
