A DAY IN YOUR LIFE AT SEVENGEN
What does it look like to be a Safety Consultant at our company? You will:
- Collaborate with a team of personable and fun environmental, health, and safety professionals
- Excel in a team-focused atmosphere while fulfilling project requirements
- Assess machine safety to support customer manufacturing improvement projects.
- Leverage your exceptional skills in Lockout Tagout to complete periodic lockout tagout inspections
- Make valuable written and training program updates to engage employee's during learning and improve safety outcomes.
- Use your power of observation and understanding of safety regulations to develop comprehensive JSAs and complete program inspections
- Using your comfort in contractor safety management skills, you will support installation qualifications (IQ) and support permit-to-work (PTW) programs, when necessary.
- Write well-written technical reports that easily communicate risks and mitigation strategies to our customers
- Complete additional projects associated with OSHA compliance auditing, machine safety, confined spaces, fall protection, process safety analysis, and lockout tagout
- Set goals and strive to exceed your own expectations as you grow personally and professionally in a supportive team environment
- Perform meaningful safety work to improve the lives of workers in a myriad of manufacturing and construction environments
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in the Health, Safety, Environmental, or Engineering field, or equivalent is REQUIRED.
- 3-7 years of relevant technical experience in manufacturing safety
THE TECHNICAL SKILLS WE'RE SEEKING
- Machine Safety
- LOTO
- Fall Protection
- Program writing and training development and delivery
- Auditing
- Contractor Safety and Permit to Work programs
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Knowledge and auditing skills in management systems a plus
