We are looking for a Logistics Operative to join our growing team at Severfield UK in Dalton.
As a logistics operative (Driver) your role will be to take direction from the Stockyard Manager and to safely load and unload vehicles and move materials around the factory and site.
Key responsibilities will be to :
- Load and unload trailers safely
- Move materials around the site
Experience with shunters, side loaders and forklift trucks is an advantage, however full training will be given. It would also be advantageous to have a knowledge and understanding of stock control.
It is important that you have a good understanding of health and safety in a factory setting- this is key for the role.
The working hours for this role are : 6 : 30am-4 : 30pm Monday Thursday & 6 : 30am-12 : 30pm Friday
