Operations Management: Area Director
for Health and Human Services Programs in the San Fernando Valley and East LA areas

The Area Director for this region is part of the operations management team and this region's programs serve adult-age individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
- Provide direction, leadership, and supervision of professional and other staff at the program site to carry out operations and ensure quality services to individuals served.
- Responsible for the financial performance of the area business unit, review financial statements, oversee purchasing, assure billing compliance, and documentation.
- Implement area core growth strategy to increase census, maximize utilization and occupancy percentages, and assist with new start development.
- Maintain and foster relations with case managers and referral agents; participate in building relationships with local legislators and government officials; lobby on behalf of individuals served.
- Implement area strategies to maintain and foster relations with individuals served, mentors, families, and guardians.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Health/Human Services related area of study.
- Experience Required: three to six years of related experience with significant management experience in the human services industry
- Experience as a Program Director or Administrator for CCF Group Homes or case management for individuals with IDD's and behavioral issues - highly desired for this specific position
- Working knowledge of Title 17 and 22 regulations
- ARF Administrator active certification preferred
- Valid CA Driver's license and a reliable transportation
- Strong leadership qualities, attention to detail, and organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills to manage relationships and a commitment to quality in everything you do
- Availability to be ON-CALL after hours and on weekends for emergency business purposes
