Employee Safety and Risk Specialist
Do you have experience in safety, risk, or quality improvement and a desire to work for a company that positively impacts the well-being of others? In the Employee Safety and Risk Specialist role, you will contribute to the company’s commitment to serve others by promoting the company’s culture of safety through knowledge of safety and risk standard processes, analysis and reporting, and training.
This position is 100% remote and can be performed from anywhere in the U.S.
- Facilitate injured employees’ return to work from a modified duty capacity with progression to full duty
- Administer mid-year and end-year record keeping process
- Perform safety, environment, and loss prevention training
- Identify and communicate operations safety and risk issues
- Perform location audits or assessments, analysis of safety metrics, and formal quarterly metric updates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-4 years in health, safety, quality improvement, or industry-related experience preferred
- Experience in health services or health care setting preferred
- Nationally recognized occupational health, safety, environmental or risk certifications preferred
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel
- Effective communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
