As a Mentor Recruitment Licensing Specialist, you play a fundamental role in screening and processing additional safe homes for the individuals we serve onto our team.

  • Conduct Mentor home visits.
  • Complete interviews of Mentor applicant, other adults in the home, and all children in the home.
  • Compose the Home Study Narrative in accordance with all local regulatory and contractual requirements as well as The Center of Excellence requirements.
  • Advise management on whether to proceed on the licensure of a home.
  • Assist the Program Director, Recruiter, and PSCs in making clinically appropriate individual/Mentor matches.
  • Maintain appropriate records in compliance with funding source requirements.
  • Attend all necessary meetings and calls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work OR Master's degree in Social Work.
  • LBSW or LMSW or LCSW.
  • Two years of related human services experience preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
  • Current driver’s license in good standing, car registration, and auto insurance if providing transportation for individuals receiving services.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to the company’s mission and values.
