SF Gelateria is a small batch of gelateria made from scratch right in the shop. The menu features Italian classics, American favorites, and Global flavors. Flavors change weekly and there is a strong emphasis on organic and local ingredients. We are hiring people who love food, especially frozen treats, and love bringing happiness to people.
Duties:
Measure, mix and create all our gelato from scratch.
Make sauces and baked goods.
Maintain inventory.
Follow recipes and create new ones.
Operate, clean, and maintain gelato machinery.
Maintain the cleanest kitchen.
Qualifications:
Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with making ice cream, gelato, and pastry ideal, and food prep experience is a must.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Can stand for long periods.
Be able to practice safe handling skills with food equipment.
Maintain high sanitation standards.
Previous experience baking, preparing food in a commercial kitchen, or culinary school graduate.
