Our company is looking for Temporary Summer Help to assist Pressroom Foreman and Press crews in performing a wide variety of manual tasks in the pressroom.
Responsibilities Include:
- Answer phone and provide information or answer questions as needed
- Assist in maintaining warehouse and facility.
- Assist with shipping documents and general office paperwork.
- Operation of the Segerdahl computer system, use of required documentation
- Read and understand job tickets and work instructions
- Locate paper for jobs and move to press
- Locate ink for jobs and give to the press crews
- Other duties as may be assigned
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Above average English oral and written communication skills and math skills
Average typing and computer skills
Ability to read and understand general documents
Above average interpersonal and telephone skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office 2000 including Outlook emails, excel and word
Basic math, mechanical and communication skills
High School diploma or equivalent Required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Able to stand for full shift (usually eight hours per day). Must possess full range of motor/motion skills in all body areas.
