We are searching for a talented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing cleaning services at multiple locations throughout Shreveport, Texarkana, and surrounding areas. Your daily responsibilities will involve traveling to inspect accounts, meet with clients, and lead a team of dedicated employees. A valid Driver's License and clean driving record is required along with a criminal background check.
Salary is up to 55K, depending on experience. We also provide a monthly vehicle allowance or a company vehicle to facilitate your travel. Furthermore, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Critical Illness, Accidental, 2 weeks paid vacation, and paid holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Develop work schedules, train supervisors, and cleaning staff on the proper use of equipment, materials, and chemicals, setting them up for success.
- Assign designated working areas to employees, ensuring efficiency and organization.
- Maintain accurate timekeeping records and submit them to upper management for approval, ensuring a streamlined payroll process. Also monitor employee hours daily to ensure you are within budget.
- Responsible for recruitment, promotion, discipline, and termination of staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to procedures and exceptional service delivery.
- Provide support to employees when needed, ensuring performance goals are met and work orders are promptly addressed.
- Champion safety requirements and maintain a secure working environment for all.
- Take charge of complete day and evening operations at your assigned accounts.
- Conduct inspections to ensure cleanliness and promptly address janitorial equipment repairs, if necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must have previous management experience - Previous janitorial management experience is a major plus.
- Possess a clean driving record and reliable transportation, as daily travel to assigned locations is required.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Embrace a flexible schedule, with a primary focus on late afternoons and nights. Occasional weekends may be necessary to meet business needs.
- Present a professional and well-groomed appearance, coupled with exceptional customer service skills.
- Acquire knowledge and experience in effectively managing accounts for maximum profitability.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and foster strong interpersonal relationships with employees.
- Demonstrate outstanding organizational skills, allowing you to prioritize assignments with ease.
