Job Summary
Fellers Food Service Equipment is looking for a high energy individual with experience in Warehousing to join our team. As a family- owned company, we specialize in commercial kitchen design, sales and installs. Problem solving, clear communication and good organizational skills are a must. A willingness to learn new things and implement already gained knowledge will drive this person into a strong, healthy, long-lasting career. This is a part-time position for the warehouse, other assignments as needed and Job duties which include but are not limited to.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Complete local deliveries by driving van/car/truck to and from customers/vendors. (A Class E License will be required soon after hire).
- Verify & receive inbound freight shipments
- Daily re-stock of Showroom inventory
- Pick and process orders accurately using hand held scanner
- Prepare & ship outbound orders (UPS/FedEx/Freight)
- Operate a forklift/pallet jack
- Check all incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy
- Organize & maintain a safe/clean working environment
- Customer Service Oriented
Qualifications include:
- High school graduate/or GED and be 18 years or older.
- Class-E Driver’s license (soon after hire)
- Must have clean driving record.
- Some warehouse experience.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. In some areas, taste and smell are required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color, vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
