SGS Life Sciences carries out all type of services for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, from coordination and running of clinical trials with new molecules or techniques on human beings, to support and consultancy on post marketing registration activities. SGS Life Sciences has also expertise in the quality control of pharmaceuticals. For our Clinical Pharmacology Unit (CPU) in Edegem, we are currently looking for a Clinical Trial Pharmacist.
Job Description
In this role, you are responsible for the handling of Investigational Medicinal Products in a Clinical Trial Environment. This means you:
- Will be the primary Pharmacy contact to clients and the clinical trial team;
- Are an expert for trial medication. On top of that, you provide the division with support on several domains, whilst performing IMP handling such as accountability, storage, dispensing, …;
- Are the colleague that will set-up the pharmacy related documents and IMP labels in line with sponsor’s and regulatory requirements;
- Act as the problem-solver, you will follow-up corrective action plans towards deviations;
- Make sure everything is compliant for the Pharmacy services (e.g. developing, implementing and evaluating processes and procedures to ensure overall success).
Qualifications
- You have obtained a Master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences;
- Your sense for structure, precision and accuracy is very high;
- You’re a born planner: you like organizing and problem solving;
- What’s a team without a team player? You love to work in team and can handle stress like a pro, thanks to your well-organized competences;
- Providing quality at all domains is on top of your list;
- Your knowledge of English and Dutch is impeccable, this in written as well as spoken. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
