Job Description
As the Engineer, Cost, IND TSS you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and cost support as a key member of Project Teams. Working with key stakeholder groups to gain an understanding of project requirements to provide insightful cost management and proper execution forecasting tools. Well-versed in monitoring preparing and reporting capital costs in monthly forecasts cash flows and estimates at completion of a project. Creative problem-solving to determine effective strategies to meet immediate and long-term client goals.
- Develops, recommends, implements, administers and maintains cost control system and procedures to track project budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts for projects of medium complexity and value.
- Establishes and interfaces with Key Project Stakeholders including Subcontractors and vendors. Provides training and guidance as necessary.
- Develops reporting tracking tools and generates accurate and timely monthly cost reports including evaluation of earned value.
- Develops estimates and subsequent Appropriation Requests (AR), Authority for Expenditure (AFE) and Work Order and submissions.
- Manages Work Orders and coordinate with Affiliates and Project Team for all GO113’s.
- Prepares project cash flow forecast and Monthly Cash Call.
- Working knowledge of Angola Tax Regime.
- Working knowledge and experience of SBU Angolan in country processes and procedures.
- Performs administrative duties as required/ assigned.
- Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 15 years oil and gas experience
- BS Preferred
