Job Description
Working as a core member of our Digital Labs project team, you will analyze business requirements and provide solution design for Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMs) while implementing system solutions for various business initiatives. You will be dedicated to our LabVantage work stream.
More specifically, you will:
- Be responsible for LIMS LabVantage functional solutions that meet the needs of the Business / Global Process Owner (GPO) Team;
- Use your knowledge of business workflows and requirements and product capabilities to advise on solution design;
- Review validity with the GPO / Rollout team prior to translation into functional software design documents & User Stories implementation;
- Maintain a deep understanding of the LIMS Product capabilities and articulate proper use of the existing functionalities to the Users to encourage usage and minimize changes;
- Support creation of RFP SOW / work packages for LIMS Partners and manage vendor / partner accordingly;
- Influence what features of the product will be used, added or deferred;
- Maintain Global consistency across all Business Lines, Regions, and Labs;
- Contribute to Roadmap Vision and Strategy.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level in Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, Business, Engineering or a related subject;
- Minimum 5 years of Functional Solution Analysis experience within the context of application development & implementation projects;
- Knowledge of LIMS (LabVantage, CCLAS, Starlims or other) and / or laboratory processes;
- Fluent in English.
