Job Description
The UI/UX Designer will design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for a suite of software tools and solutions in the testing industry. You will collaborate closely with the software engineering teams and clients to understand user needs and translate them into design solutions.
Job Functions
- Design, plan, and create visually engaging, user-friendly interfaces for software products and solutions
- Collaborate with members of the development team in brainstorming, reviewing requirements, designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining software
- Manage customer projects including communicating with the customer on issues and status, gathering requirements, and managing project schedules and resources
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gain insights into user behavior and preferences
- Monitor and analyze user feedback, metrics, and research data to identify areas for improvement
- Develop a strong understanding of the current usage of software tools
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Associate's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field (Required)
- Experience with HTML, CSS, FXML, QML (Required)
- Linux experience and knowledge of UI frameworks and software tools preferred (Preferred)
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Language Skills: English Intermediate level required
- Expected technology - HTML, CSS, FXML, QML
- Computer Skills: Linux experience preferred. Strong technical computer skills. Knowledge of UI frameworks and software tools is preferred
- Strong communication skills are required
- Strong ability and desire to learn new things
- Self-motivated, open to change, and driven to improve the SGS product and customer experience
- Strong organizational skills. Capable of setting priorities and keeping track of tasks autonomously
