Drafter
As a Drafter at ShadeWorks, you will be responsible for working with the sales and operations team to convert hand drawn plans for low maintenance patio covers and pergolas into CAD build plans and provide a list of materials needed for each project.
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in daily operations meetings to review new projects.
- Work with sales reps to understand project goals and needs.
- Create CAD building plans for the construction team to follow.
- Create a list of materials needed to be ordered and prepared for each project.
- Assist permitting coordinator as needed with job plan information.
- Assist purchasing coordinator and shop floor as needed with material needs.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of drafting experience
- 2-3 years of experience with Trimble Sketchup and Layout or similar.
- Experience with Salesforce a plus, but not required.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task well.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
