Banquet Manager
The Banquet Manger assists the Food and Beverage Director and the Food and Beverage Managers in overseeing day-to-day operations including casual, fine dining, snack bar, beverage cart, private events, and bartending operations. He/she will supervise set-ups, breakdowns, staffing levels and quality of service while maintaining Food and Beverage financial goals. The Banquet Manger coordinates with the Member Relations Director, the Private Events Director, and the event host to ensure that all events are well organized and that the expectations of the Member and host are exceeded.
Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with Department Heads and Employee Partners to execute high level of service at all times
- Manage, train, and create an engaging atmosphere for Employee Partners
- Ensure that all Employee Partners are executing the steps of service as laid out in their training
- Attend all BEO meeting and ensure execution of events based on information provided in the BEO
- Responsible for events from beginning to end, including set up, service, break down, and reset for the following event.
- Responsible for closing, locking and securing the building at night as well as running all end of day reports for the property
- Responsible for accuracy of Food and Beverage daily financials, including sales, voids, and comps
Job Qualifications
- Three years experience as a server, floor, or bartending supervisor in a la carte or private dining service
- High-energy, outgoing personality with strong professional, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proven track record of team leadership and motivation skills
- Attention to set up and service details are a must
- Diplomatic team player able to foster relationships with Members, Employee Partners, and guests
- Possesses a passion for exceeding Member and guest expectations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
