Overview:
The Finisher 1 is responsible for manufacturing finishing operations on implants and instruments.

Qualifications:
This position requires the following qualifications (at a minimum):
0-1 year of experience in metal finishing
Experience with finishing methods and tools
Basic understanding of reading drawings
General knowledge of quality policy, especially as related to product realization and recordkeeping
Knowledge of personal safety requirements
Ability to finish product with minimal supervision but still requiring input from finishing department supervisor
Ability to finish some product independently
Duties/Responsibilities:
Finisher I is responsible for performance of the following quality system functions in accordance with documented procedures:
  • Final finish on implants and instrumentation produced in manufacturing operations using powered equipment, hand tools, and measuring instruments
  • DHR documentation
  • Complete all required and compliance training
  • Any additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
