About you:
- You are a Licensed Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant with outstanding client service skills and excellent patient care.
- You understand the importance of clear & effective communication among clients and team members and are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of patients & their families.
- Quick on your feet, you are a dynamic and efficient worker who contributes to the operation of the entire hospital, helping to get all the day’s duties done!
- You are comfortable interacting with clients and confident in providing educational tools and resources that encourage client compliance
- You possess clinical skills and experience that include (but are not limited to):
- Patient assessment and physical examinations
- Phlebotomy and catheter placement
- Knowledge of radiology safety and proper technique
- Routine dental prophylaxis experience
- Anesthesia monitoring proficiency
- Perioperative surgical nursing skills
- Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures
Anticipated Schedule (TBD):
- Full-time, Day shift, with rotating weekend availability
- Our hospital is open:
- Mon – Thurs, 8am – 7pm
- Saturday, 9am – 4pm
- Sunday, 11am – 5pm
