General Responsibilities:
· Performs all tasks and duties associated with Accounts Payable
· Auditing of Vendor Statements to ensure all invoices are current
· Maintains organized and current vendor files
· Works with departments to ensure all invoices and receipts are received and recorded timely, in-the-month-for-the-month.
· Ensure deadlines are met and expenses are accurately recorded
· Assist Accounting Manager with accounting projects
· Assist with month-end F&B and Culinary inventory and data entry
Qualifications (Essential):
· High school graduate, some college preferred
· General knowledge of Rooms and F&B Department operations
· Ability to satisfactorily communicate English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
· Ability to provide legible written communication, to read and interpret documents, the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Qualifications (Desired):
· College degree
· Knowledge of Opera, ProfitSage, Fusion
Skills:
· Ability to maintain hotel standards, policies & procedures
· Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
· Ability to interact positively and professionally with hotel personnel, guests, clients and the ability to provide prompt solutions to problems.
· Ability to focus on attention to details
· Ability to work without supervision

Essential Functions: (Include the following. Other job related duties may be assigned.)
· Code & process invoices for payment – including MOVAGA and Caribbean Watersports (CWS)
· Track CWS commissions & amenities and post weekly
· Match Fintech activity to invoices to ensure proper reconciliation
· Code and submit Marriott invoices weekly
· AMEX:
o Daily collection of receipts
o Code charges in Fusion weekly
· Keep records in orderly manner
· Research Vendor Statements
· Handle all vendor communications written & oral
· Process weekly Petty Cash report
· Help managers with checkbooks
· General Cashiering – as assigned by Accounting Manager
· Assist with Accounts Receivable as necessary for back-up
· Be familiar with SHG internal audit and comply with audit items that pertain to position.
