What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Captain position at Shaner Hotel Group?
The Banquet Captains help train and lead the Banquet staff, as well as generate reports and assist with projects as assigned by the Banquet Manager and/or General Manager. The Captains assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests. Food safety certification and alcohol awareness certification preferred but not required. Work shifts and hours vary, weekend and holiday hours required. Some duties include reviewing and evaluating customer satisfaction, hiring and training staff and ensuring compliance with all corporate policies and procedures that relate to the banquets department, as well as local, state and federal law regulations. We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, strategic and personable leader who can effectively organize a department under the standards of Shaner Hotels.
Salary : $27,900 - $35,300
