JOB DESCRIPTION
To provide general level expertise and analysis of the administrative and business activities related to core processes within the HR Shared Services. Ensures process and operational continuity of entity and department level transactions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Provides prompt, courteous, and accurate assistance to callers while appropriately tracking and documenting inquiries within HR Shared Service's case management system. Establishes and maintains positive customer service relationships at all times by utilizing excellent customer service skills, maintaining a caring and professional attitude at all times.
• Is an extention of HR Shared Services Center in addressing candidate experience,
issues and processing.
• Investigates and actively seeks resolution to problems and concerns for pre-employment.
• Maintains a high level of confidentiality when researching and responding to customer inquiries/issues.
• Develops and maintains accurate information within the Human Capital Management System (HCM) and HR Shared Service Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).
• Adheres to all UTMB Health and HR Shared Service's policies, procedures and standards within budgetary specifications, including time management, supply management, productivity and accuracy of practice.
• Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirement for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency while supporting department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization.
• Participates on project teams as assigned or performs special projects as requested by leadership and attends user’s meetings when appropriate.
• Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
• Performs related duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Experience in PeopleSoft HCM version 8.8 or higher.
• Demonstrates ability to manage multiple priorities and use critical thinking skills to make decisions with minimal guidance.
• Strong attention to detail and problem resolution skills.
• Ability to work with information of a confidential nature.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (Continued)
• Ability to work independently or in collaboration with peers and business partners in a seamless manner.
• Ability to interpret policies and procedures within HR Shared Services and determine when escalation of issue is appropriate.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications:
• Associate’s Degree or Equivalent.
• 2 Years Related Experience.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/EQUIPMENT
Standard office environment.
Standard office equipment.
Length of assignment is 1-2 months, with the possibility of an extension.
Work hours are Mon-Fri (8am-5pm).
*This is a contract position through HealthCare Systems Staffing (the in-house staffing agency for UTMB). Therefore, there are no benefis associated with this position.*
