Job Title: Speech Language Therapist/Pathologist
Location: Cary, NC 27519
Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time
Shift & Timings: Days 8 hr a day work.

Description:

• Speech Therapists provide evaluation and treatment services at our clinic or in the comfort of your own home.
• We help people whose lives and independence have been disrupted through therapy and home safety assessments.
• Our goal is to help patients achieve the highest level of function and independence possible.
• Our team of licensed, registered speech therapists works with patients, their families and other members of the patient’s rehabilitation team to teach special techniques to facilitate independence in day-to-day activities.
• During the course of treatment, speech therapists continually reassess the patient’s progress and coordinate with team members to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language abilities.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders.
• Providing individual or group therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills.
• Using various techniques and tools, such as exercises, games, and technology, to enhance communication abilities.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care and support for patients.
• Monitoring progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and documenting patient's response to therapy.
• Educating patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, techniques, and home exercises to facilitate progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Keeping accurate records and maintaining documentation in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
• State licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Knowledge of various speech and language disorders, assessment techniques, and evidence-based therapy approaches.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $44.00 - $48.00 per hour
