Job Summary

Defense medical malpractice firm is seeking a full-time paralegal.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with incoming calls;
  • Scheduling and maintaining attorney calendars;
  • Issuing Subpoenas, organizing medical records and bills;
  • Drafting and sending correspondence to clients, counsel, witnesses, courts, and others;
  • Performing docket checks, filing and e-filing documents;
  • Management of cases from inception to trial.

Qualifications and Skills

Requirements include:

  • Previous experience as a paralegal a plus;
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills;
  • Excellent written and oral skills;
  • Experience with computer applications including Word;
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines;
  • Able to work independently and within a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

  • Legal drafting: 1 year (Preferred)
