Position Overview
POSITION OVERVIEW : Assist the Crew Leader and be able to perform all duties in the department also be capable to take over in Crew Leader’s absence.
Essential Duties :
- To assist Lead by driving lift truck to move tubes from and to trailers.
- Keeping hopper loaded and assisting with baler.
- Must learn all jobs to be able to fill in during an absence.
- Do light repairs to strapper.
- The Utility will use a Lift Truck to load boxes filled with tubes.
- Forks must be used to lift the boxes out of the hopper by punching a hole in the box or using the forks in such a way that there is no physical strain on anyone trying to get the box out of the hopper.
- As directed by supervision to attend periodic departmental meetings.
- Sort heavy duty carpet cores daily.
Work Shift
8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PM
