What are the responsibilities and job description for the Integrity Engineering Supervisor position at ShawCor Ltd.?
We are currently seeking an Integrity Management Supervisor in any of our LSC office locations.
This person will lead a team of engineers and technicians in executing various client projects. Specific areas of focus will be Direct Examination and In-line Inspection (ILI). This person will have a high level of involvement in developing the team’s professional skills and technical knowledge related to ILI Integrity projects. They will work closely with employees to ensure they’re aligned with the goals of the Integrity Management team and the overall organization
Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with the Director develop a business plan that defines the book of business that the team will execute.
- Develop growth strategies for all team members to increase knowledge of integrity management.
- Provide leadership and management for the Integrity Engineering Assessment team in alignment with the mission and vision of LSC
- Assist in field operations and work in the field as needed to deliver on projects and to ensure proper customer satisfaction
- Develop annual revenue plans and resource planning in collaboration with the Director of Corrosion.
- Responsible for driving profitability, business unit goals and objectives
- Represent the organization with clients and business partners in concert with Business Development
- Motivate and lead a high-performance team; attract, recruit, and retain required members of the team. Provide mentoring to new and existing staff in support of their career development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
- 3 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to dissect problems and quickly develop solutions.
- Ability to travel to support in-field execution 35%
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects, and Access
