The Opportunity
Eastern Region: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and all states east, as well as Central and Eastern Canada (ON, QC, NB, NS, PE, NL).
Reporting to the Stormwater Sales Director, the Eastern Region Stormwater Sales Manager will profitably grow our stormwater business in the assigned territory by developing relationships with Industrial and Commercial customers, influencers and infrastructure owners, driving specifications and increasing market share of our stormwater solutions portfolio.

Duties & Accountabilities
Profitably grow the stormwater business in the assigned territory
- Meet or exceed revenue and margin objectives for the territory
- Daily calls with local civil engineering firms, design consultants, municipalities, developers, and regulators to generate new projects, conversions and gain approvals
- Work together with the Stormwater Sales Director to create yearly goals and objects for the region
- Manage and direct a team of Stormwater Sales Engineers
- Manage and direct sales activities with manufacture reps.
- Maintain a sustainable sales funnel
- Build strong, influential relationships with design engineers, customers and regulators
- Proactively introduce, demonstrate and promote current and new products to new and existing clients.
- Establish the company as a preferred vendor within the client network
- Maximize market penetration in assigned segments by developing and implementing targeted action plans
- Monitor competitive situations and recommend appropriate tactics
- Implement pricing policies within market segments as directed by management
- Attend Sales Meetings as required
- Demonstrate strong teamwork skills in a virtual environment with various departments including company executives, fabrication plants, inside sales, customer service, finance and other sales representatives
Drive stormwater marketing activities in the territory
- Contribute to the definition of the annual Stormwater marketing communications plan with specific activities for the assigned territory
- Lead the implementation of the annual marketing communications plan in the assigned territory, including tradeshows and participation in local industry associations
- Monitor market trends and stay in touch with customers to identify new product and services that can be added to the water and wastewater portfolio
- Monitor competition to identify and counter competitive risks early on
- Other duties as assigned
Safety
- Maintain a safe working environment by aligning with corporate safety rules and regulations, and ensuring a culture of safety
- Cooperate with their employer for the purposes of protecting the health and safety of themselves as well as other team members either engaged or at the work site where the work is being carried out
Skills and Qualifications
- Post-secondary education Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sales role, preferably in a technical sales environment. Previous water, wastewater and stormwater product sales experience or fiberglass product sales experience an advantage
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office suite
- Previous experience with Customer Relationship Management systems is an advantage
- Expected U.S. and Canada travel >50%
