ROLE SUMMARY:
Want to help turn out Democratic voters in Pennsylvania? Revolution Field Strategies is seeking enthusiastic canvassers to join our team throughout this election season to help get out the vote–no experience necessary! This innovative program is being managed remotely–canvassers will complete all aspects of their hiring and training virtually, and will receive necessary supplies in the mail. There’s no need to travel to an office for an interview and training–it can all be done from home!
Remote canvassers will earn $125 for each completed canvass packet, which can be done in your own community, on your schedule. Individuals who successfully complete their first canvass packet will be offered additional opportunities. Canvassers can expect a total commitment of 4-to-6 hours to complete their briefing and door-to-door canvassing. They will have a fully remote support team and will be able to choose their own turf in or around their home or community, so travel will be minimal.
Canvassing will begin in early August and last through November 5th. Canvassers will be able to set their own schedules and working hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete an online briefing that will provide a detailed overview of your role.
- Canvass door-to-door in your community or a surrounding region–you’ll be provided with a list of voters and homes, supplies, and ongoing support. The typical canvassing turf will take between 3-5 hours to complete, and can be done all at once or over multiple periods of time.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Comfortable with talking to individuals you may not know about progressive politics and the importance of voting.
- Must have the physical stamina to stand/walk for extended periods (packets can take several hours to complete) while meeting and talking to people.
- Ability to memorize and recite a brief canvassing script and/or talking points.
- Understand how to enter basic data on a cell phone.
HOURS AND COMPENSATION:
All canvassers will be independent contractors and paid $125 per completed canvass packet. Canvassers may choose their own canvassing hours, but must complete their full task to be eligible for compensation. Compensation will be provided by direct deposit, or by mailed check if requested.
