Grooming Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Grooming Assistant. As a Grooming Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and grooming services to our furry clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a love for animals and a desire to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Duties:
- Assist groomers in bathing, drying, and brushing pets
- Handle animals with care and ensure their safety during grooming procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
- Provide support to groomers by preparing equipment and supplies
- Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues and report them to the groomer or supervisor
- Assist with nail trims, ear cleaning, and other basic grooming tasks
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a veterinary assistant, kennel attendant, or in animal care is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Knowledge of pet grooming techniques and equipment is a plus
- Ability to handle animals of various sizes, temperaments, and breeds
- Basic understanding of animal behavior and body language

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
