This role qualifies for a remote work arrangement. Candidates must reside in one of the states in our seven-state footprint in OH, MD, VA, NC, WV, MI and PA.


PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

Responsible for developing training recommendations in alignment with the instructional design strategy and organizational goals. Manages the process for all training requests, from inception through development and implementation, to ensure delivery of the appropriate solution.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)

  • Manages process for all training requests through project documentation, schedules, estimates/budgets, solution approval, and reports in collaboration with Business Partners, key stakeholders, outside vendors, and the entirety of Workforce Development department.
  • Support Talent Development Strategy, Human Resource, and corporate strategy training related initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Estimate resources needed for training projects, determine and monitor project timelines, and expedite training to support rollouts of new products and services for successful execution and solution delivery satisfaction.
  • Ensure the Instructional Design Team utilizes appropriate instructional design processes, standards, templates, and instructional technology to guarantee desired performance objectives are met, in alignment with department and/or organizational objectives.
  • Establish metrics to use in evaluation methods to measure effectiveness of training solutions and adjust training solutions as needed.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and professional organizations to include the latest learning theories, instructional design models, learning modalities and emerging technologies to continuously evolve the learner experience.
  • Ensure all training solutions, development programs, and reference materials are current.
  • Act as an instructional design and development subject matter expert (SME); design and develop training solutions as needed.


REQUIREMENTS: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design or related field required
  • Master’s Degree in Instructional Design or related field preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years’ combined experience in designing, developing and facilitating learning programs required.
  • Minimum 4 years’ project management experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years’ teaching and facilitating experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Project Management Professionals (PMP) certification preferred.
