What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity Coordinator/Director's Assistant position at Shelbyville/Bedford County Senior Citizens Center?
Answering phone calls and taking and distributing messages. Act as a senior center host/hostess. Meed clients, take care of any inquiries of participants and general public. Maintenance of membership files and data entry into WellSky program. Faxing as necessary. Coordinate programs and activities for members and the public. Assist in all aspects of the programs and activities, including decorating, preparation of food, acquiring prizes as needed and participation in the event. Purchasing any items needed for the center and any activities. (going to Wal-mart, grocery store, etc.) Schedule required educational and health related programs monthly. Maintain resource information records. Assist with all fundraisers. Prepare monthly newsletter and mail before the 1st of each month. Prepare breakfast and center cooked meals as needed for special events/programs. Be available for other activities of the office as assigned and agreed upon with the range of his/her capabilities.

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
