Assistant Store Manager
Job Posting for Assistant Store Manager at Shell/Corner Mart Store
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Retail Store Manager with the store's operations. The Assistant Manager will be able to step in and manage the store in the store managers absence. Our Assistant Manager works day/afternoon/night shifts in the absence of our store manager and are required to work at least one weekend day.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting and training quality employees
- Motivating employees
- Providing excellent customer service
- Inventory management
- Product ordering
- Cash management
- Payroll
- Addressing customer complaints
- Ensuring product stock levels with cycle counts
- Analyzing audits
- Stocking merchandise
- Ensuring that company processes and procedures are followed
Qualifications
- excellent customer and interpersonal communication skills
- ability to multi-task
- experience in a fast-paced convenience store or other retail environment
- availability to work all shifts based on need
- ability to use and learn the store back-office system
E&C Mid-Atlantic Ventures, LLC operates 58 retail convenience and petroleum stores in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Our stores wave many flags. BP, Exxon, Mobil, Shell, Sunoco, Citgo, 7-11, and Corner Mart stores. We have popular food offerings such as Subway, Dunkin Donuts, and Krispy Krunchy Chicken.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
