Bartender/Server

Overview:

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve drinks in a friendly and efficient manner
-Take lead in bar operations to ensure the smooth running of the bar.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils
- Monitor and prioritize the cleanliness and maintenance of the bar area.
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register or POS system
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed
- Closing responsibilities of the restaurant.
- Stock and manage inventory daily and monthly.
- Ensure that all employees adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain exceptional customer relations at all times.
- Manage customer service issues, such as handling complaints about service, preparing some food items, recommending additional items, or providing other assistance.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in bartending or hospitality industry preferred
- Proficiency in basic math for measuring ingredients and handling payments
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and familiarity with various drink recipes
- Experience with cash handling and operating a POS system
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests in a positive manner
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
