Title : Customer Relationship Representative
Department : Resident Relations
Reports To : Regional Operations Manager
Status : Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Compensation : $20-$23 / hr, depending on experience, qualifications, and certifications
Position Summary & Primary Responsibilities :
The Customer Relationship Representative is responsible for effectively and professionally responding to inquiries from current, former, and future residents.
This position works closely with other Resident Relations Department team members as well as other Operational Departments to maintain the highest level of customer service.
In addition, this position is responsible for the following :
- Responds to phone calls, emails, and other communications from tenants
- Creates and arranges for the distribution of important letters and notices to tenants
- Facilitate tours of the property and units for prospective tenants
- Coordinates community events
- Maintains a consistent presence at site offices, utilizing a set schedule
- Receives, reports, and follows up on maintenance repairs reported by tenants
- Refers complicated tenant complaints to Resident Relations Generalists and Specialists
- Assists tenants in understanding and learning to use technologies provided to them
- Assists in planning and implementing community events, including National Night Out
- Complies with all Federal, State, and local Fair Housing regulations and ordinances
- Acts as backup or additional support for other members of the Resident Relations
Department as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned
Education & Experience :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service or office administrative experience

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
