Job Summary:
Oversee the planning, directing and coordinating of a Shentel line of business to ensure that product launch objectives — encompassing timeliness, cost, asset utilization, unit volume, revenue growth and/or market growth — are met. Manages and oversees the development of products and value added services to support the assigned line of business. The successful leader must possess strong analytical, communication, leadership and technical skills in the telecommunications technology offerings. Gains organizational buy in to the product roadmap priorities through collaboration with engineers and designers to improve product performance and consumer experience. Translates unstructured or ambiguous requests into actionable user stories and works with units through problem decomposition and planning. Inspires and facilitates meaningful contributions from internal and external stakeholders.
Qualification Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred, or equivalent work experience in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
·3 - 5 years of product owner experience with proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
· Must be capable of establishing and maintaining credibility, respect, and confidentiality.
· Exceptional interpersonal/people skills including verbal and written communications skills, including listening and presentation skills
· Ability to build presentations appropriate for executive audiences and present a compelling story behind the data
· Project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks from multiple project at one time
· Business acumen and knowledgeable across many functional areas, including product management, business development, product marketing, engineering, and marketing
· Must have strong interpersonal skills, be goal and performance oriented and be able to set priorities, establish work plans and provide specific management feedback. Must be a team oriented, creative problem solver.
· Proven negotiation, collaboration, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
· Analytical skills and the ability to convert consumer insights and performance data into high impact product initiatives
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders
