Automotive Detailer

Shepherd’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Automotive Detailer to join our growing service department. As a porter/detailer, you’ll be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the interior and exterior of vehicles to meet company standards and customer expectations. You’ll also be responsible for making sure all in-stock vehicles organized and up to the standards we set to provide our customers for test drives. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

The Lot Porter/Detailer is responsible for preparing and maintaining vehicles for the lot for test drives and sales. Our staff delivers the highest quality service while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare new vehicles for lot.
• Prepare incoming pre-owned inventory for lot.
• Maintain fuel levels for test drives.
• Keep vehicles clean as needed.
• Dealership runs as needed.
• Wash service vehicles.
• Body shop delivery washes.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

• Must be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company and customer vehicles.
• Ability to stand for eight (8) to ten (10) hours per day.
